How CRYSVITA is given

A trained healthcare professional should give CRYSVITA as an injection under the skin, in the arm, abdomen (stomach area), buttocks, or thigh.

The amount of CRYSVITA that is given (called the dose) is based on body weight. Your healthcare professional will determine the right dose for you or your child.

In children, CRYSVITA is given every 2 weeks.

In adults, CRYSVITA is given every 4 weeks.

During treatment with CRYSVITA, tell your healthcare professional if you or your child experience the following serious side effects:

  • Very common: Skin reactions (only if severe), dizziness (only if severe)
  • Rare: Allergic reactions shortly after being given CRYSVITA (in all cases). Symptoms include rash and itching all over the body, severe swelling of eyelids, mouth or lips, shortness of breath, rapid heartbeat, and sweating.

If you or your child experience any side effects not listed here, or have a troublesome symptom that becomes bad enough to interfere with daily activities, talk to your doctor.
